The Stainless Steel 410S Sheets and Plates from Mitchell Stainless are low-carbon martensitic stainless steels that contain chromium (11.5–13.5%), with iron as the primary element, along with trace amounts of carbon, manganese, and silicon. The lower carbon content improves weldability and reduces hardening during heat treatment. These sheets and plates boast good mechanical strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Typical properties include tensile strength ranging from 380–550 MPa, solid toughness, and stability during thermal cycling, making them perfect for high-temperature applications and fabrication needs.
